What is included in your different wedding photography packages? All of my packages include an engagement session, day-of coverage, an online gallery of digital images and printing rights. Options for some packages also include a 2nd photographer and/or wedding album.
Do you require a deposit? I do! In order to book your wedding date, I need a 25% deposit up front. As for paying off the balance, I’m really flexible. As long as it’s paid in full by your wedding day, we’re good!
Will you have a 2nd photographer with you? For my middle and top packages I will. They’re always going to be a full time professional who I know and trust, not some random person from Craigslist. Having another set of eyes and ears and being able to be in more than one place on your wedding day is so valuable. Need more info? Do you travel? You better believe it! I love to travel, whether it’s a few hours or a few time zones away. The costs can vary depending on what is involved, but you’ll only pay the actual costs. Please get in touch and let’s see if we can make this happen.
How many images will I get? The average is around 500, but it always changes from wedding to wedding. It all depends on how long I’m there, how many formal photos we do, how many details you have, how crazy your reception gets, etc… BUT, I never give you extra photos just to hit a certain number. I want you to have all of the best images from your wedding day without any filler material.
When will I get my images? I say 4-6 weeks, but I try my hardest to get them to you within 4 weeks.
Do I get printing rights? Of course! I love it when people print out their images and are able to touch and feel their photos instead of just looking at them on a computer screen. You’ll be able to download high-res images from your gallery along with a print release so you can print your images anywhere you’d like, as often as you’d like. You can even share the gallery with family members so they can download and print images too!
Do you do engagement sessions? I do and I love them! I also think they’re really important. Not only do they give us a chance to get to know each other before your wedding day, but they also give you a chance to spend a little time getting comfortable in front of the camera.
Do you do maternity/newborn/family sessions? Good question. The short answer is no, but I’ve been known to do a few family photos from time to time for friends and previous clients. Usually though, I have trusted photographer friends who I can refer you to (and who drive me crazy with how good they are at that kind of stuff).
