Brooke and Nick love the outdoors. They hike, camp, swim, ski… if it involves nature, they’re all over it. Which is why I knew that what turned out to be pretty much a solid month of rain in Colorado wouldn’t really have them too worked up on their wedding day. It helps that they’re both really chill, relaxed people, but it also doesn’t hurt that they know how to take what nature gives them and make the most of it.
Fortunately, Mother Nature waited to get the party started until after their ceremony, cocktail hour and photos. While everyone was tucked comfortably inside a tent enjoying dinner and drinks, the weather outside was a mix of wind, rain, thunder, lightning and even a little hail. It quickly passed, though, revealing a beautiful rainbow that ended on the grounds of the castle itself!
Through their love of family and serving others (both are doctors), Brooke and Nick have a very wonderful and rewarding future ahead of them. And because of their relaxed personalities and mutual love of nature and beer, I think Colorado is the perfect place for them to call home. Congratulations and best wishes Brooke and Nick!
