When I arrived at the Chateau St Jean vineyard in Sonoma to photograph Liz and Ryan’s proposal, I was greeted with an area underneath a huge magnolia tree that was sprinkled with rose petals, just waiting for Ryan to propose to Liz. While they were enjoying a private tour of the vineyard, I walked around and talked with people who were there to enjoy a glass of wine. Let me tell you, the imminent proposal was the talk of the vineyard! Everyone was curious about what was going on. When the big moment arrived, Liz and Ryan had a bit of an audience watching in the background. When Liz said yes, everyone started cheering!
After the proposal, I got to chat with Liz and Ryan and take some more photos. I was surprised to hear that Liz wasn’t even aware of all of the people who were watching and cheering. Once she realized what was happening, she basically had tunnel vision and was only aware of Ryan. Isn’t that romantic? Congratulations Liz and Ryan! I hope you have a happy life and always have tunnel vision for each other!
