We started out near Golden, carefully avoiding mud created by warm temperatures and melting snow. Laura and Sam held each other in a field of tall grasses, keeping each other warm. Eventually the wind picked up, which was our cue to head downtown. We walked around, talking about downtown living and enjoying a beautiful Sunday evening in Denver.
