It has been one rainy summer this year. It started out clear for Erica and Tim’s Silverthorne Pavilion wedding, but then the clouds rolled in and it rained all day. Fortunately it takes more than a little rain to keep a wedding from happening. We quickly moved to Plan B and held the ceremony inside, which turned out to be a very pretty Plan B! The guests stayed dry, Erica and Tim got married and we were still able to sneak outside for a few minutes after the ceremony for some photos.
At this wedding I saw one of the more touching dances I’ve seen in a long time. At the end of the father/daughter dance, the DJ invited all of the fathers and daughters at the wedding to come join Erica and her father on the dance floor. The same thing happened with the mother/son dance. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many teary eyes on a dance floor.
At the end of the day, everyone had a huge smile on their faces and had a great time. The ceremony was pretty (and dry), the toasts were touching and the reception was a blast! Most importantly, Erica and Tim got married and are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives together. Congratulations Erica and Tim! It was a pleasure spending your wedding day with you.
